The shade comes fully assembled–just install the brackets using the installation template and insert the shade. To use, simply roll the shade down, using the pole and hand crank system, before the heat starts building up on your window, porch or patio and start enjoying your outdoor area again. The crank ring is on right side of the shade but it can be moved to the left. An installation template, hardware, and removable pole are included.

It arrived quickly and was easy to install, though the template for drilling the holes was wrong and caused the installation to be crooked and had to be redone. It provides great shade on my porch from the evening sun. The crank to roll it up and down works smoothly. Got it for a great price, too! Much less expensive than custom-made shades.
