Excellent tire!  I love these.  I'm surprised that the tread wear isn't great considering the rating, but noise and traction are stellar.  They are a little less efficient than the OE tires but everything has its trade-offs.

Tire technology has changed a lot since the first set of these I owned about 10 years ago.  I expected these to be worlds better than the Bridgestone Turanzas that are OE from Mazda.  Truth is those Turanzas held up really well, even into the wear bars with decent wet weather grip.  These Conti Extreme Contact DWS 06 are really good and very quiet, but I expected a bit more dry grip than they have.
