For my family’s Christmas Eve gathering, I used Chinet paper plates for desserts (8.75 in., 225 ct.) I had already bought the Chinet platters to use as dinner plates. Premium Price Paper Plates but Lower Quality
The China plates used to be of a premium quality. These plates certainly have deteriorated over the last couple years and are no longer of a premium quality, but still have a premium price.

We love using recycled materials, but it means we are constantly re-evaluating and optimizing the manufacturing process. Recently, all Chinet Classic® molded fiber tableware transitioned to a new Oil & Grease Resistant (OGR) barrier technology. Because of that, you didn't get our best product, and we apologize. This luncheon plate is a great size but questionable quality! First package I purchased, I returned as there was some plates were discolored and smeared with some stain. Sam's gladly returned my money for these. I purchased a second package......no stains but several plates do have spots where the paper is somewhat bubbled.
