Operate your Dual Fuel inverter right out of the box on gasoline or propane, and easily switch fuels with the EZ Start dial. Dual Fuel/Electric Start

So far, our Champion 4500W dual fuel inverter generator is working fine. We recently completed the 5 hour break in period using propane. We’re planning to later add a connection to our home power panel using a transfer switch to power some basic devices in the house. We feel more confident now that we can survive a long power outage, especially during the winter time.

We’ve been using the Champion 4500-Watt Dual Fuel Inverter Generator for our travel trailer adventures, and it’s been a game-changer! The dual fuel capability—running on both gasoline and propane—is a standout feature, giving us flexibility to choose our fuel source based on availability or preference. It’s powerful enough to run all our essential appliances, including the air conditioner, fridge, and electronics, without breaking a sweat. The inverter technology keeps the power clean and stable, which is great for sensitive devices. It’s also surprisingly quiet for its size, making it campground-friendly, and the compact design fits nicely in our setup. We love how reliable and easy to use it is, with straightforward controls and a quick-start process. The fuel efficiency is impressive, letting us enjoy long weekends without constantly refueling. Switching between gas and propane is seamless, and it’s been a lifesaver during off-grid trips.
Note of Caution: One thing we discovered is that the generator won’t run properly on the travel trailer’s propane hookup if the propane tanks aren’t completely full. The trailer’s pressure regulator delivers lower pressure, which can cause issues. To avoid this, we ensure our tanks are topped off or use a dedicated propane tank with the correct regulator for the generator. Overall, we absolutely love this Champion generator for its versatility, power, and reliability. It’s a must-have for any RV camper looking for a dependable power solution, as long as you keep that propane pressure quirk in mind!

I purchased the Champion Power Equipment 4500-Watt Electric Start Dual Fuel RV Ready Portable Inverter Generator with Quiet Technology and CO Shield to use for home backup due to power outages.
The unit seems to be well made and I'm surprised how quiet it is.
I used propane fuel for the 5 hour break-in and varied the load as advised.
It started on the first attempt out of the box, after adding oil.

Love everything about my new Chapion generator. Just connect to propane tank turn the dial press rhe start button it couldn't be easier than that. Lot quieter than my old generator. Love the handle makes it easy to maneuver. Bought for home backup during power outages.

Great little inverter generator with super easy service. Simple break in and ready to go. Very little debris from the engine. Did I mention quiet? Can't really notice the sound even on the front porch. Very happy so far.
