Born from the burning desire for great food and an ongoing quest for unique and authentic ingredients, Capital Tacos is the culmination of traditional Mexican cooking and regional Tex-Mex flavors.

Our award-winning menu is highlighted by 25 signature chef-created items that can be had one of five ways: as a taco, burrito, rice bowl, salad or nachos. Our home-cut chips and homemade guacamole, queso and desserts are also fan favorites.

It all began, in late 2013, with a cozy corner store in Land O'Lakes. But it didn't take long for the local secret that is Capital Tacos to get out.

By 2015, Capital Tacos was awarded as the 2nd Best Place To Eat in Tampa St. Petersburg by Yelp. and as a Top 3 Taco Shop in the entire United States by Foursquare/Business Insider. Soon, by popular demand, came new stores.

Capital Tacos food is freshly prepared and made-from-scratch, and served in a quick, affordable, friendly way. In other words, we like to #keepitcapital.
