All Natural

All pre-mixed cocktails are crafted with all natural flavors and premium ingredients. We also have a food safety certification through FSSC 22000. FSSC 22000 is a Global Food Safety Initiative recognized food safety certification based on ISO standards for good manufacturing and process management. This certification represents an organization-wide commitment to producing quality products using purposefully designed and administered processes and standards. Our commitment to maintaining this certification shows that we truly care about being a company with a food safe culture.

Sustainability

We are proud to work with international recycling leader TerraCycle. We work with TerraCycle to ensure our packaging is properly recycled. We encourage all BuzzBallz consumers to participate in this program to send their empty containers to TerraCycle. Once collected, the BuzzBallz packaging is cleaned and separated by material type. The materials are recycled into raw formats that manufacturers use to make new products. BuzzBallz are packaged in 100% recyclable materials. Depending on your region’s recycling practices, they may or may not require you to separate material. We recently partnered with TerraCycle so now, any consumer can sign up, download a shipping label, and send in their BuzzBallz empties for recycling. Once received, the waste collected is then typically shredded, washed, melted and transformed into plastic flakes or pellets which are then turned into recycled products such as outdoor furniture.

Serving and Storage Tips

The best way to drink BuzzBallz is to chill it and then shake it before drinking it. A BuzzBall is best consumed within 18 months of its respective production date but does not have a technical expiration date. Near the bottom of the BuzzBallz, there is a 5-digit code followed by a dash and another single digit. This is called a Julien date and it tells you when the product was made. Take this date for example: 21248 [21] represents the year the BuzzBallz was produced. [248] represents the day the BuzzBall was produced. 248 is the 248th day of the year, or September 5th. BuzzBallz should be refrigerated after opening if it’s not finished in one sitting. We do not recommend storing BuzzBallz in hotter temperatures because they are made with natural juices and creams.

BuzzBallz History

On a hot Texas afternoon in the mid-2000s, then-high school teacher Merrilee Kick was sitting by her pool grading papers when she had a hankering for an alcoholic beverage. She thought it would be cool to sip a cocktail out of a plastic container versus a fragile cocktail glass. Merrilee came up with BuzzBallz’s signature spherical shape thanks to a memento in her house—a glass votive from a recent family trip. She was at a sporting goods store when a can of tennis balls served as inspiration for a pop-top she could use. BuzzBallz is WBENC-certified, meaning we’re proudly woman-owned, operated, and unstoppable.
