Your meal will be as easy to cook as it is delicious to eat.</p> <h3>Prime Rib Roast (5 lbs.) with Signature Butter (1 lb.)</h3> <p>Juicy, tender and out-of-this world tasty, your meal will be memorable when you feature this boneless prime rib roast, no matter what the occasion. Wet-aged and hand-trimmed, this classic cut of meat is beautifully marbled to ensure a decadent roast every time. Cook with the signature butter for an exceptionally tasty meal!</p> <h3>Crème Fraîche Mashed Potatoes (2 lbs.)</h3> <p>The most classic holiday side dish, taken to a whole new level. Thaw your rib roast and butter under refrigeration until fully thawed. Remove Rastelli Signature butter and rib roast from refrigerator one hour before cooking and let warm up to room temperature. Preheat oven to 500°F. Place your rib roast into roasting pan with rack. Evenly spread herb butter over entire top and sides of rib roast until completely covered. Place in 500°F preheated oven and roast for 5 minutes for every pound, 5 lb. roast should be cooked for 25 minutes. After roasting at 500° F. for 25 minutes, turn oven OFF (DO NOT OPEN DOOR) and let roast sit for 2 hours in closed oven. IMPORTANT NOTE: Do not open oven during this step. After 2 hours, remove roast and let sit for 10-15 minutes before serving. Based on this cooking method you will have a Roast cooked to a medium doneness.</p> <p><strong>Side Dishes</strong>: Preheat oven to 350°F. Remove film and lid and place tray on a baking sheet. If frozen, cook for 60-75 minutes (or 40-50 minutes if thawed), or until fully heated throughout and slightly brown on top. Product internal temperature should reach 165°F. If top browns too quickly, cover with foil until finished cooking. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.</p>

This was delivered to my front porch timely and in generally good condition. It was in a very frozen state, as expected. I prepared the roast as per instructions (exactly), which produced an excellent finished product. The included mashed potato container was broken, even though there was no apparent damage to the outer box it came in. The Mac and cheese container was fully intact. Both were edible (quite good). There were ample amounts of leftovers that stored well, as there was only me and my wife to enjoy it. The first two meals of leftovers were eaten as Prime Rib dinners and the third and final meal of leftovers made an incredibly good Beef Stroganoff! Kind of pricey but nice for an occasional treat.

We chose to have a medium-rare prime rib dinner for Thanksgiving.  Other than letting it sit for 1 1/2 hours instead of the recommended 2 hours for medium, we followed the instructions to a tea. The meat was so tender you could cut it with a table knife.  And, the flavor was outstanding. We will definitely recommend this excellent prime rib to our friends and family.

Just cooked it yesterday. Very good everyone enjoyed it. Meat tender, very tasty and juicy. Seasonings and Seasoned butter very tasty. Mashed potatoes very good. Mac and cheese just okay. Wish there was a option to get 2 mashed potatoes. Good deal.

Much bigger than I thought.  Looked beautiful.  So happy to be able to order online and avoid the crowds.

I would buy this again & again. The shipping was fast and packaged properly. The prime rib & sides were the perfect size for our family.

Quality meat shipped right to your door

Great, easy directions. So tender and flavorful! Only drawback was it occupying my oven for 2.5 hours while it was cooking. Couldn't use it for any sides.

Best Prime Rib

The seal on the beef and mashed potatoes were broken so when the meat thawed, it leaked all over the refrigerator, and we were picking plastic out of the mashed potatoes (so we didn't use). We went ahead and took a chance on the meat and cooked it since it was too late to replace before Christmas, and everything turned out fine, but it was unsettling. The meat was tender. The mac and cheese was bland.

Faulty packaging

The prime rib was good beef.  However, the sides came in plastic dishes designed to go straight in the oven.  However, the plastic dishes were cracked and could not be used.  This made finding replacement cookware difficult and messed up the timing on how long things should cook.

Troublesome sides

Prime rib was very good. The sides however were  terrible. Mac n cheese was dry and gritty. Mashed potato seened to be instant and soggy after thawing. The container for potato was cracked open and leaked all over the fridge. Sides were in no way 'gourmet'.

Good meat, undesirable sides.

Never arrived for our holiday dinner as promised. This happened the year prior as well. Refund took forever, and no attempt to offer solution.
