I bought this item about a month ago.  It's better than I anticipated.  I am a widower, 10 months into my 89th year.  So far I've tried the hearty chicken, the stroganoff and the corn chowder--a total of 15 meals.  The meal preparation is so simple; just boil water.  I'm about to try another item.

Thoroughly pleased!

Is this gourmet food? No. It is an inexpensive way to store calories for 25 years. If the stores are empty or inaccessible, it will taste like Michelin Star award cooking and you will not see your family go hungry.

Last a long time & easy to eat when needed

I haven't tasted it. I added it to my stock pile. Everything has 25 year expiration. Most of it was packaged a year ago, so theres 24 years left. The cheese has 30 year expiration. The same item is more expensive on Amazon.

The reason I like these so much is because there are NO breakfast foods in them and there are NO drinks in them.  I find many of these kinds of emergency food have lots of servings of drinks and oats etc. and we won't use those things and I hate paying for things I don't want.   This is food, all food and it's good and easy to fix.

I ordered 2 of these!  One for breakfast and one for dinner!  I ordered for emergency but! I have opened and tried both for breakfast and dinner the banana chips are delicious!  I may have to order more if I keep sampling them ha!

Received in 4 days after placing online order with Walmart. Item was well packaged. Opened the container for inspection, all items were accounted for with no leaks of the sealed pouches. Going to be see how long I can stay with only eating the entire Dinner / Lunch contents. Will purchase again!

Great find.

The product is loaded with carbs. I'm diabetic so I  would have to be careful eating these. The packs come in 4 to 8 serving per package. I thought they were similar to mre's.  My bad for not reading closer. An 8 serving pack might work well in a survival setting

These are normal meals that you have to cook for as you regularly do because they are not dehydrated, just a mix. I rather will buy Maggi or Knorr pouch soups or other brand that cost much less. In both situations you have to add water and cook for 15-20 minutes. Or better, buy the lead brand MH, a little expensive but  I have tried before and are truly dehydrated, you have to add just boiling water and wait  5-7 minutes and it is ready to eat.
