I had just seen this on a Den of Tools Utube video. He likes the Senix line. I seen it on sale and bought it. This is to carry in my Jeep for tree's blocking trails and firewood. I just tried it out cutting down a small tree in the backyard and it did great! Seems to be of great quality for the money. Does not come with a case but it does have a blade protector and oil catch. Battery has cooling fans. Its really a great saw so far.

I thought I'd be returning this, but it's proven useful several times when I flooded my gas saw. Cut up two Aspen and a pine (rounds) before the battery died. as far as the chain jumping off, you just have to watch your angles. I've had it happen a few times but I'll always take this thing with me when I'm cutting. Even handles gamble oak no problem. -Matt A.

I've only used this to limb and buck one large tree that had fallen. Previously I had used a Craftsman gas-powered chainsaw for many years. The Senix saw was surprisingly powerful - as powerful as my gas saw. It was MUCH, MUCH easier to start (just hold down the button and lever) and it felt safer to use because I had no hesitation to stop it frequently and put it down while I re-set my position or moved cut debris out of the way. One battery charge was enough to limb and buck about 2/3 of a large (18" diameter, 25' tall) fallen tree down to 1/4 of a charge (the recommended stopping point). By then, I was ready for a rest
