The original battery power lasted for a night before I need to recharge it. It’s light and easy to install. They also come with a remote that I can use from inside the house.

This one doesn’t need power and fully charge out of sun energy. Plus it’s automatically turning on as soon as it gets dark. You also have multiple color options and blinking speed. No more worries about additional electricity costs. It was easy to set up. The lights look nice and bright. The ability to switch between different colors  by a remote is very convenient.

Nice and cozy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The length of this is perfect for my backyard as I don’t have a huge one. I haven’t set it up yet as I need to find a perfect spot to mount this on, and we don’t get enough sunlight in the winter. I tested it and the colors were so beautiful and lit pretty nicely. The quality of this seems pretty sturdy — looks like it can probably test the cold of the NYC weather, but I’m still hesitant on putting this out. I’ll probably wait for the weather to get slightly warmer to put this up to preserve its function. Overall, I really liked it.

Nice Lights for a Small Backyard!

This is my second set of this model of color solar lights. The last set lasted about 3 years. I loved the option to make different light combinations with the remote. The current set is slightly different. It came with a USB cord to charge versus solar charging. I don’t like the remote. It is different because I don’t have the option of using 2 different colors just single colors and the different buttons (Fade 3, Fade7, Auto, Jump3, Jump7, Flash, Speed , Speed-) are confusing. Also it goes back to auto on its own which goes thru every color which I don’t need. The lights stay on longer than my last set which is a plus.

Nice string solar color lights with a few issues

These are nice lights, but I can't get over the design of the "memory" function. The lights only retain the prior settings if you manually turned them previously, so if you ever let them turn off on their own, they will reset to default settings, which is a pretty obnoxious color cycle. Totally defeats the purpose of having automatic lights IMO.

Good product, terrible "memory"

These lights worked great for about 2-3 weeks. Now, although they have full sun all day, the lights blink all the color options instead of automatically the set warm white. So frustrated. We bought 3 sets.
