That was the advertisement when they first started selling this stuff in the 70's, and it was true! A good source of vitamin C and sugar energy in a powder form, those space pioneers took this stuff with them on several missions to the outer earth and beyond!

Package punctured prior to delivery to Customer

I love this product. The bottom side of the container had been punctured before it was delivered. When I removed the Tang from the box it was delivered in, the powdered mixture began to spill out. I don't need a replacement. I just thought you would want to know the container of the product was damaged/punctured during transport.

I drank this as a kid, and YES the astronauts did in fact drink it on their mission. why i even have the glass Tang pitcher with its trademark name on it that my mother got for free back in the early 70s as a promotional item! I have stomach issues that cannot tolerate the acidity 🍊 of orange juice. when you look at it from a sensible point of view, both have vitamin C and sugar as well. 😋
