Product details

Take your barbecue to the next level with Sweet Baby Ray's® Barbecue Sauce. Sweet Baby Ray's sauce is the boss when it comes to barbecues, with an award-winning, mouthwatering recipe that's made it one of the world's most popular prepared barbecue sauces. Sweet Baby Ray's barbecue sauce is spectacular on ribs, chicken and brisket, with a slow-cooked tangy sweetness that brings out the best in smoked and grilled meats. It's also fantastic on burgers, hot dogs, barbecued tofu and fries. This value pack includes two 40-oz. bottles of Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce, ideal for cooking or for enhancing your selection of condiments.

Sweet Baby Ray's Barbecue Sauce, the Pride of Chicago since 1985

Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce was first introduced to the nation when a local Chicago resident nicknamed Chef Larry entered his family's recipe in the Mike Rokyo Rib-Off, the country's largest rib-centric barbecue competition. The sauce, seasoned and slow-cooked to perfection, was named in honor of Chef Larry's younger brother. Sweet Baby Ray's beat out almost 700 other entrants in the competition and a legend was born.

Over 30 years later, Sweet Baby Ray's sauce is still made with the same ingredients and still made in Chicago. While the company now features 40 different varieties, the original recipe is still their flagship sauce. The original Baby Ray's BBQ sauce is an enduring backyard and ballpark staple and sold worldwide so everyone can experience the city's iconic creation.

It's the only brand I use.

When Sweet Baby Ray's first started appearing on grocery store shelves I asked a fellow shopper on their opinion on Sweet Baby Ray's barbecue sauce. I got a stern look and a reply of "it's the only brand I use". That has been at a minimum of 25 years ago since my first encounter with Sweet Baby Rays but since then " it's the only brand I use"

Sweet Baby Rays!

Sweet Baby Rays is great, I made baked beans with it, they turned out great. Sauce has a great flavor, I used it in my crock pot ribs recipe, they turned out tasty and tender.
