This is a great storage shed. It was very easy to put together. I did need someone to help me hold the walls up and set the roof on top. It took us about 30 minutes to put it together. It is bigger than I expected it to be. The material is well made. So far it hasn’t leaked when it rains. I liked it so much I bought a second one.

Great Storage Shed

Bought this for pool chem and toy storage. Fits that bill perfectly. It was easy to build and all parts fit together perfectly. If you need help there are YouTube videos. The color is great and fits in our yard perfectly. 

I built the shelves out of 3/4” plywood because I wanted the 13” wide dimension. I recommend cutting the shelves .5” longer than the recommended length. You want a tight fit against the side walls.

I placed mine on a concrete slab. Helps with the fit of all part to have a flat, level, and stable foundation. If wind is a concern you will need to anchor this shed down.

Great plastic storage shed

This little shed is perfect for my Swim Spa needs!! I added two $30 shelves that I picked up from Walmart so I had extra room for storing all my chemicals and filters on one side and all my floats, towels and gadgets on the other side.  I used zip ties to secure the shelves to the back wall so they won’t tip over. I also put up two pop on lights (which came with an on/off switch as well as dimmer switch) so I can see inside at night!  Great price at Sam’s Club too!!  Win/win in my book. 😊

It’s perfect!

The Suncast shed was very easy to assemble & took about an hour with my 15-year old daughter to assist. Based upon previous reviews, I was a little leery about tackling this on my own, however the instructions/pictures were easy to follow. My only hold up was the hinges and how to keep them on. However, after a few minutes of trial and error, they went on without an issue.

The shed looks great and is pretty sturdy! Our last Suncast shed lasted 8+ years in the desert heat and sun, so I imagine that this one will last just as long.

Great Product!

I ordered this to store my garden tools. I was able to assemble it without any problem. Instruction manual is clear and easy to understand, but just make sure that the base is flat or else you may have to prepare the base first before you start assembling the unit in my case, I Bought some plywood from Lowe’s and assembled the base first so that it is firm on the ground and flat as well then I was able to rise. This shared within an hour instruction manual was pretty clear and I have a lot of help from the YouTube videos overall, it’s a study easy to assemble and value for money

Excellent quality

I purchased 2. The first one took me about 75-90 min to put together, reading through the instructions. The second one took me just under 60 min to put together. With both sheds I had one issue; 2 of the roof screws did not seat properly, they were too short. Suncast does not have a longer screw they can send, which would have addressed the concern. Instead, they said they would need to send me a new roof to replace the old. Hopefully it will work. However, after that, once replaced, I now will be required to pay a fee in order to take the old roof to the landfill, as I cannot throw it in the trash can nor recycle can due to the size. A couple notes to make you aware: 1) The holes where a lock can be used at the bottom of the handles, appears to be very thin, no other way to really describe. One handle on the shed at the store appeared to be broken. I am assuming in the winter, with freezing conditions outside, they might become brittle. 2) The inside back corners have a space about 2" wide by about a 1/4" to 3/8” high, in which bugs, wasps, etc., could easily enter and make a nest inside the shed. I mentioned this to Suncast and their answer was, it was designed that way. Basically, working as designed. Not sure if they will fix this on future designs, but I have decided I will take some type of spray foam to possibly fill in those gaps. 3) There is a similar space across the entire span of the doors. If standing inside the shed with the doors closed, you can see the gap and much light entering in from outside the doors. Overall, it seems to fit my need, simple sheds that will protect my yard tools and equipment, and some storage totes, from the elements. But they could have done a little better on the overall design.

Seems durable, but…..

This is by far the easiest shed to assemble. I run a soccer club and we purchased three of these to put at each of our fields for supplies. They went together so easy, but you really do need to make sure they are going on a level surface. Otherwise, the unit will lean and the doors will not close correctly. I recommend using a foundation and anchoring the shed to it. Time will tell about it's durability, but assembly and functionality is awesome.

So EASY to Assemble!

A good shed at a reasonabe price ($399).  The fit of the walls and roof are not perfect due to design and mass production approach of the shed, but it does not leak in light storms.  I purchased 10 corner brackets and about 40 additional screws to reinforce the floor and all corners to sinch tight any joints and connections.  I think this shed should be able to handle Texas storms but have not had a hail storm yet to verify that level.  The roof appears sturdy, but be careful on touching as it quickly gets hot in the sun on an 80+ degree day. The doors, hinges, and locking mechanisms are well designed and very pleased with their operation.

I will buy a second shed as my needs expand

The shed is nice, big, and fits quite a bit. Issue though are the doors. The hindges are clamps that really need to be screwed down. The screws on the hindges are a soft metal and strip easily. Then the doors are reversed. The main door has the stationary locks on it, not the secondary door. Plus, the stationary locks are on the outside, instead of the inside. Due to this, the shed is not secure and nothing valuable should be left in it if your afraid of theifs.

Nice size, but ...

Having purchased and assembled a Lifetime shed from Sam’s I was assuming the Suncast product would be comparable. However, the engineering and sturdiness of the two are far apart. The Suncast product is much less sturdy and I do not think it will compare in durability within two years to the Lifetime brand. Suncast is all plastic assembly from the panels adjoining, to the hinge action of the doors. All in all I am not impressed.

I prefer Lifetime

Delivery as part of my Sam's Plus membership was supposed to be yesterday but didn't happen. Was told on the 800 number helpline that the product is 2 days away when there were 2 in-stock in the building the day I bought it. Now I'm being told it's coming from 2 states away from Alabama. I'm not so happy now.
