Sunbrella Extract Oil Based Stain Remover is an effective solution that draws out the toughest, most stubborn grease and oil-based stains for effortless removal. Specially formulated to penetrate the fabric's fibers, Sunbrella Extract targets and lifts stain particles, transforming into a powder upon drying that can be easily removed with a vacuum.

Understanding Oil Based Stains

Stains typically fall into one of two categories: water-based or oil-based. Oil-based stains are often the most challenging to remove as they are hydrophobic and repel water. Such stains can include cooking oils like olive, vegetable, or canola oil, condiments like salad dressing and mayonnaise, cosmetics like liquid makeup, moisturizers, or sunscreen, and oily ingredients such as coconut oil and butter. Our Sunbrella Extract Oil-Based Stain Remover is designed to effectively treat these types of stains.

Compatible Fabrics

Sunbrella Extract is specifically designed to clean and treat Sunbrella fabrics, including upholstery, cushions, umbrellas, fabric awnings, boat covers, Bimini tops, canvas, and other fabrics. However, it is not recommended for use on Sunbrella Horizon® Marine Vinyl. We advise conducting a spot-test on non-Sunbrella fabrics before full application.

Application Instructions

To use Sunbrella Extract, spray in a circular motion starting just outside the stain's perimeter, slowly working inward until the stain is completely covered. Allow the cleaner to dry completely, then use a vacuum or a soft bristle brush to remove the powder. Prior to use on non-Sunbrella fabrics, test a small, hidden area for colorfastness and examine when dry. If color or texture is affected, refrain from use.
