A Backyard Staple

If you're looking for a toy that actually gets the kids excited to head outdoors, the Step2 My First Picnic Basket is a total winner. We've had ours for a bit now, and it has become the centerpiece of our backyard playtime. What I love most is how it bridges the age gap in our house. It's rare to find something that captures the attention of both a 3-year-old and an 8-year-old, but this set does exactly that. Why It's a Hit: Multi-Age Appeal: My toddler loves the tactile feel of the play food and the "click" of the basket lid, while my 8-year-old takes charge of the "menu" and organizes elaborate outdoor feasts. Built to Last: In true Step2 fashion, the plastic is heavy-duty. It handles being dropped on the patio or left in the grass without a scratch. This set is wonderful my grandson has fun playing with it. He loves the jelly jar and the cookies the most. Very sturdy cart and great sized food for littles.

My First Picnic Basket Step 2

This picnic playset far exceeded my expectations, from the basket on wheels to take your picnic and all its supplies anywhere you want to go with everything you need to the washable picnics blanket. This set will be around for all of my children, its well built, durable, good quality pieces & the nice part is all the toy pieces are washable and easy to wipe down. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed playing with this set for hours, I watched her imagination flow putting together the pieces of a sandwich, spreading jam from the container and setting up dessert and tea. A great toy for any weather as well, you can set up a picnic indoors during inclimate or enjoy it outside. Very pleased with this toy, looking forward to seeing what Step 2 comes up with next.
