Active and Inactive Ingredients

The active ingredient in REFRESH PLUS is Carboxymethylcellulose sodium 0.5%, which works as an effective eye lubricant. The inactive ingredients include calcium chloride, magnesium chloride, potassium chloride, purified water, sodium chloride, and sodium lactate. Hydrochloric acid and/or sodium hydroxide may also be present to adjust pH.

Usage and Warnings

REFRESH PLUS is for the temporary relief of burning, irritation, and discomfort due to dryness of the eye or exposure to wind or sun. It may also be used as a protectant against further irritation. For external use only, avoid touching the tip of the container to any surface to prevent contamination. If the solution changes color, do not use. Stop use and consult a doctor if you experience eye pain, changes in vision, continued redness or irritation of the eye, or if the condition worsens or persists for more than 72 hours. Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, seek medical help or contact a Poison Control Center immediately.
