This molding can be used to complete your laminate or vinyl flooring installation. Used to cover the expansion space required around your floating floor, the white quarter round molding can be easily installed along the perimeter of your room. Simply nail or glue into place according to the installation instructions to fully complete your flooring installation where the floor meets the wall. These white quarter round moldings provide a contrasting transition for a clean and polished look in your room. For completing the installation of waterproof flooring, it is necessary to apply 100% silicone sealant between the surface of the flooring and the bottom of the quarter round to create the necessary waterproof barrier. Additional moldings are also available online to coordinate with the QuickStep by Mohawk vinyl plank flooring options.

    I like the price of the trim and the what the length is supposed to be. I did not like the fact that three trims were placed in a flimsy cardboard container and when it was delivered to me, all three were broken into different sizes once I looked inside. What I did like was that the fourth one was inside a good, sturdy thick cardboard container and the rim stayed unbroken and intact.
