Pirelli Scorpion AS Plus 3 - 235/65R17 104H Tire

I ordered a full set of Pirelli tires for my car. I received a call that they were in, so I set up an appointment to have them installed on June 16th. Sam's had triple booked their appointments and at that time, 11 am, only one worker had shown up for work. Then they told me that "they had ordered" the wrong size tires. They would fit my car but they were a size bigger than I needed or wanted. They said it would now cost me about $30 more, I said ok but my thought was that since you (Sam's) had made the mistake, that you (Sam's) should eat the difference or give me some kind of a discount because of your mistake, That was not offered. When I originally ordered my tires on June 7th, I paid for them in full $749.93. This amount included the tax. On June 16th, once I had the tires installed, a man at the service desk, handed me an envelope and said that the warranty and all of my papers were inside. I didn't check it out. I went home and looked at the papers. They were all related to the original sale of the tires back on June 7th and showed the tire size as the ones that I had originally ordered. There was no mention of the tires that they had just installed that were not the correct size of tires had I had ordered. If something went wrong with the tires they had just put on, I would not have had any proof that I had purchased them as my papers all listed another size. I did later get an e-mailed statement showing the correct tire size. Then I realized that I had paid an additional $68.96 not thirty some dollars that had been mentioned previously. What the sales person had done was subtract the original sale plus tax from the current sale amount that also included tax and that was the $68.96. The way I see it is that I have paid tax twice. I am not happy about the way that Sam's Club handled my transaction. The sales lady was going crazy with walk-up customers that they couldn't help due to a lack of workers. Customers were upset, Sam's was losing money and they were trying to install my tires and figure out my bill and I was in the middle of things. Bill wise, they took the easy way out. They subtracted my original tire payment from the more expensive tire payment both showing taxes paid, and I was charged the difference, making me pay double taxes. I only signed up for a Sam's Club Membership to save money on tires. I am recently widowed and thought I could save money and get to enjoy a year of Sam's. I am alone so there is very little that would benefit me to buy there in quantity., Now I'm not so sure I should have taken the time to join. I 'm not very happy.

Smooth quiet ride, handles great in heavy rain, great traction. Its Spring now so cant comment on snow yet. So happy I purchased these. I was looking for a Quiet tire because I couldnt handle the road noise in my Honda CRV with the OEM set. Wow what a difference. Smooth Sailing Now!!!
