The Palram - Canopia Hybrid 6' x 14' Greenhouse offers the precise balance of two advanced polycarbonate panels and a durable frame, perfectly designed to fit smaller spaces so you can start growing earlier and continue growing later. Not all polycarbonates are the same. Our panels are made with only virgin materials that won't become brittle or turn colors over time. Polycarbonate is one of the strongest polymers, making it virtually unbreakable and it won't shatter as glass is likely to do. The 4mm twin-wall roof blocks up to 99.9% of harmful UV radiation. The crystal-clear side panels offer over 90% transmission of light to reduce burn but provide ample light for plants to thrive.

Additional Features

Integrated roof gutters disperse rainwater that can be collected for sustainable irrigation systems. For added ventilation, a roof vent and magnetic door catch keep oxygen flowing and help keep temperatures low on warm days. LOVE this and Price was Inexpensive

Took a bit ling to put up...because we qznted it done right but well worth the time. Opted to buy a solar lever for the vent to open and close. Put some totes for raised beds and instant garden. No more insects or animal damage. A Bakers Rack made a potting counter. Wish I got it many years ago. Love!

Read all the directions before you start.

The time and effort put into the design is pretty impressive. As a carpenter, I was impressed with the thought process that went into the design. 90% of the bolts and nuts are the same size. The directions state that it will take two people about 6 hours, it my wife and I about 7 hours. This included the time it took to go thru and make sure all the parts were in the box. The intro in the directions says to read all of the directions before you start, trust me this is time well spent. We built a deck to place the house on, none of our property is very flat and I do not like concrete. No fasteners are provided for the attachment of the base frame, we used SDS screws to attach to the deck, it is best to get the base frame together, square it up and put a few fasteners in the corners and along the side to hold the base in place as you construct the house, the base is light and will move around if you do not. There are no written directions except on the first page. There you will find called out steps that need particular attention. When you are making your way thru the 50 plus steps, there will be an "i" icon that tells you to go read the special attention you need to be aware of for those steps. This thing comes in a 24" x 48" x 4" box, with no padding what so ever. Some of our roof polycarb panels slightly bent, which caused a few problems getting them to seat properly in the tracks they slide into. Some of wall panels were dented, which did not cause a construction problem, but do not look good. The box this stuff comes in is so compressed that the wall panels felt as if they would break when separating them, in hindsight, it may have been wise to take them inside and warm them up. The directions have blown up details to see how parts relate to each other, there are some connections you nearly have to guess at which added time to the build. You will find the gable ends, door and roof vent to be the most time consuming and frustrating. Once the house is finished, it is sturdier than it looks. Follow the directions closely and you should have no major issues.

Basically a giant adult lego set. Went together fairly well, albeit slowly. Get a 10mm ratchet extension for your drill and make your life exponential easier.
