Enjoy the sweet, elevated feel of this masterfully handcrafted crystal-clear aged tequila. <h3>Production Method</h3> PATRÓN CRISTALINO is an exceptionally unique tequila that reimagines PATRÓN Añejo—a unique blend aged in four distinct oak cask types—by filtering it through wood charcoal for 12 to 15 months and blended to offer a sweeter profile with big, woody notes that don’t overpower the baked agave flavors that are uniquely PATRÓN. This produces a sweet and velvety smooth tequila, clear as crystal and flawless in its finish. PATRÓN tequilas are handcrafted at the Hacienda Patrón distillery in Jalisco, Mexico where people are the heart of the process - one that has remained the same since the very beginning. First, skilled jimadors uproot only the finest 100% Weber Blue Agave with the perfect sugar content and transport the heart of the plant to Hacienda Patrón. They’re then hand chopped, baked and crushed by a two-ton volcanic stone tahona wheel and a roller mill. The agave is then fermented in pine oak tanks and distilled in small batches using copper stills. Each bottle of PATRÓN is a work of art, meticulously inspected, hand corked and signed. PATRÓN Cristalino tequila is a celebration of our tequila mastery that has resulted in one of our most exquisite tequila innovations to date Agave ripens slowly: Every eight or so years. So our skilled Jimadors take great care to find and uproot only those Weber Blue Agave with optimal sugar content. Using a sharp tool called a Coa, they strip away the leaves to reveal the heart of the plant, the piña. After being hand-chopped, our piñas are baked in small brick ovens to ensure they’re cooked evenly. Then, they’re crushed by a two-ton volcanic stone Tahona wheel and a roller mill. In fact, Patrón has more working Tahonas than any other tequila producer in the world. <h3>Sustainability</h3> <ins>Water</ins> PATRÓN Tequila has also been a part of the Charco Bendito project since 2020, which aims to replenish 4,000,000 cubic meters of water by 2028 and has planted 53,000 trees—with a projection of 150,000 planted trees by 2028 in the Lerma-Santiago River Basin—to help with water basin projects in Mexico. <ins>Agave</ins> Without a continual supply of agave, there wouldn’t be tequila, so we’re proactively funding a study with a top agricultural research center in Mexico to ensure the sustainability of the Weber Blue Agave plant for the entire industry. In addition, our jimadors only harvest mature agave, which allows the natural reproduction cycle of the plant to occur, helps prevent overplanting, and plays an important role in preserving the local ecosystem. We also create more than 5,500 tons of fertilizer compost a year from leftover agave fibers from our production process at the Hacienda PATRÓN distillery. And we take in used agave fibers, free of charge, from 10 other neighboring distilleries. <ins>Trees</ins> Since 2015, we’ve reforested or donated approximately 16,000 trees in our local community of Atotonilco el Alto, Jalisco. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Patron Cristalino isn’t so complex but it is smooth and has an agreeable flavor. Everyone in my party enjoyed it and several people even said it was great. Nice bottle and I would buy more for holiday season.

The initial taste is sweet, with rich flavors of vanilla and caramel that are balanced by the underlying agave and a hint of black pepper spice. The oak from the barrels adds a nice complexity without being overpowering. It's a very easy-drinking spirit that goes down with minimal burn, making it ideal for sipping neat or on the rocks.

The product itself works amazing as an add in for margaritas(or whatever you prefer to mix it with), but also works great by itself. I prefer to have it chilled. But it’s good right out of the package as well. It’s smooth and a great pairing for taco Tuesday(or any day of the week). Awesome product with a simple, but affective design! I highly recommend.

I found the packaging to be very clean and a nice display for a shelf using Instacart. I found to be easy without a membership, but there were hidden fees that I did not expect furthermore if you were to buy this product in store, it does come with additional security measures, making it hard to get. I personally wouldn’t buy this product again for the price and difficulty obtaining but I’m glad I had the opportunity to try it

The packaging is very slick and intriguing. One glass and you’re feeling good, it definitely does the trick. The value for this may be a bit out of my price range for a simple weekend, but a good drink for a special occasion.

A little spicy going down!

So I’m probably not the right person for this, but I was hoping it would change my opinion. It……didn’t. It’s tequila. I made my own little mixed drink with a lavender marg mix and it was..fine. I’ll be saving it for my tequila drinking friends but it really isn’t my cup of tea(quila).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was my first time trying this version of Patrón, and at first, I’ll admit it was pretty strong (at least to me), but it still had a smooth taste. Once it settled, I started to appreciate the flavor a lot more it has that classic Patrón kick but with a nice, clean finish. I can definitely see myself getting it again in the future; I wouldn’t write it off at all. It’s one of those drinks that grows on you the more you sip it, and I think it would be perfect for cocktails or just chilled on the rocks if that's youre kinda thing.
