this is my first pellet smoker but i have been around people using them for years this grill gives a great smoke ring on the meat and keeps temp pretty much on spot so far I have only used this for 3 smokes so far but I am truly impressed with it if anything i would love a way to control the smoke by shutting a damper or something other then that this grill works great

Great Grill for the Money

Easy to assemble. Easy setup to season and get started cooking. Temperature control is stable and first cook was pork steaks that were cooked just great.

We gave this to my husband as an early Father's Day gift and he loves it.  Very pleased with the quality and very easy to put together.

Awesome Smoker

Set-up was easy, instructions were brief and to the point. As I was assembling I noticed it is well built.
Getting it ready was well described in manual.
I am already enjoying it.
I may be a bit cautious, do not want to rush, time will show durability and reliability - both are important to me.
I am optimistic.

Nexgrill

​I recently purchased the NexGrill Oakford 875 Pro, and after putting it through its paces, I am incredibly happy with this grill/smoker. My family is going to enjoy a lot of great food from this in the future!

​Assembly %26 Setup

​Clear Instructions: The manual was very easy to follow, which made the setup process seamless.

​Solo Assembly: It took me about 45 minutes to assemble the entire unit completely by myself.

​Performance %26 Cooking

​Fast %26 Stable Heat: The grill heats up very quickly and maintains my selected temperature exceptionally well.

​First Cook Success: The day after assembly, I smoked some baby back ribs and hot dogs, and everything came out fantastic.

​Massive Pellet Hopper: I absolutely love the huge pellet hopper capacity. You don't have to constantly worry about refilling it during long cooks.

​Note on Probes: I didn't use the included meat probe, but only because I prefer using my own wireless probes.

​Cleaning %26 Maintenance

​Clean-up was incredibly easy, which is a massive plus for a pellet grill of this size.

​⚠️ One Minor Critique

​Lid Clearance: Keep an eye on your forearms when operating the lid. If you aren't careful, it's easy to accidentally burn your wrist while opening and shutting it.

​The Verdict

​If you are looking for a reliable, steady smoker that feeds a crowd and doesn't require a headache to assemble, the Oakford 875 Pro is a great choice. Highly recommended!

Am Excellent, Reliable Smoker!

Bizarrely, I cannot activate my warranty without leaving a review.  I obviously haven’t gotten to use it yet, but they insist.  I think I’ll love the grill, but I don’t love practices used to fill a website with high reviews especially like this where I likely haven’t used it yet.  Assembly went well anyway.

Looks great

I love the overall design of this grill. It has an extra large hopper for long cooks, a powerful controller, and thoughtful design on the barrel and shelving. It does suffer from the same design flaw as every other grill on the market with a floating auger motor and gearbox. That's my only major design critique and mandatory upgrade. It does work, but it can be made to work much better for just a few dollars.

Good grill

This is our second grill the first one something was wrong with the touchscreen on the front. We’re gonna see how this one works and hopefully it works out. Don’t get me wrong all the food that we have cooked on. It is been awesome. I’m looking much more family night barbecues

Grill is nice but…

So, I ordered the Oakford 875 on 05/10/2026 after looking at one in the store. My nearest Sams Club is 65 miles away, so when I got home, I decided to have it shipped instead of driving 130 miles to pick it up. I was hoping to have it before Memorial Day Weekend, but it delivered 05/26/2026. It was the last thing to come off the truck after 8pm so I’m sure it spent hundreds of miles being beat up on the windy country roads to my residence. I did notice some damage to the box and the driver agreed to note this on his paperwork. What I did not expect was what happened when we lifted the top off the box. Parts went everywhere to the point of actually falling and bruising my wife’s toe. I am including a picture of what the packaging looked like. The thing was pretty beat up as you can imagine a few dozen parts loose in a big heavy box. I contacted Sams Customer Service, and the lady was nice enough and attempted to display empathy from whatever country she was located in. I was offered a refund or replacement and would have taken the refund but there was $100 off when I ordered it. I requested to pick up the replacement at my local store 65 miles away so I could check it out first and she stated this was not an option.  So now I guess I have to wait another two weeks plus and hope the next one is in better shape. I’m not blaming anyone however; it is frustrating to have the pile in the photo on my porch for the next few weeks. There is no way this thing is going back without being completely destroyed. I hope I can give a review on the grill soon.
