The best oil you can buy for your car.

My husband says if you use quality oil you do not have to change your oil as often (you have to use the correct oil filter as well). Full synthetic provides superior wear protection, better extreme-temperature resistance, and lasts longer. We are seniors and keep our cars a long time and so far the only reason we have replaced a car is want not need (adverage age of cars sold has been 16yrs). That being said we buy Toyota, Acura, Honda's and now BMW (1 vintage 1994 Ford truck we keep). We may be old but we drive hard and fast (me 110+ on the open road, he's slower). That being said I would love to use one of those places that changes the oil quickly; but after several mishaps (oil plug not replaced, diop stick not replaced, drain pain under our Honda CRV reconnected with zip ties and it fell off on the freeway, oil spilled all over the engine then smoked, etc) I am done with having anyone else but ourselves taking care of oil changes. Yes, even the Acura dealer did not put the correct oil in my Acura RDX! If you change your oil yourself (and on time-I change it a little early) you cars will last longer.
