This pergola features high-quality materials and a uniquely-treated powder-coated structure that is maintenance-and rust-free. Galvanized steel materials replace the usual wood construction that often rots, cracks or weathers over time. The adjustable Textilene shade lets you open it up for evening stargazing and closing it against UV rays–plus this entire structure is also UV protected. This is a beautiful addition to our poolside patio! It is very sturdy and heavy enough when assembled that we did not need to anchor it to the concrete. The retractable shade top works perfectly. It's a perfect size for our space and not too bad to put together. We love the shade with it. This product is definitely NOT WHITE. It's more taupe or tan metal. Says it's white but it wasn't. Worked out fine for us though.
