We usually resort to bottoms with elastic or adjustable waistbands. I love how snug these denim shorts are!  They are stretchy and long--great for kids that are climbers like my toddler.  Bonus, they have real pockets for all the random "treasures" he picks up on our walks.  Highly recommend these, especially if you have a toddler that's thin in the waist and thighs.

He literally wears them any chance he gets with all his favorite shirts. The shorts fit him perfectly and are comfortable for him to wear all day long. They are very stylish and go with virtually any type of shirt. The material is very high quality and seems to be very durable against normal wear and tear. I plan to purchase more of these shorts for my son!

Then I happened to see the button and elastic in the waistband!. I put it in the second notch on each side and they fit perfectly!. Love this option. Will definitely get him another pair. Great shorts!

You can also make it smaller from the waist/hips, wish my pants would do the same. By the way picture is after him using them outside (grass  stain)

The length is just above the knees, and the waist is mid-rise. The only drawback is the fit. They say slim fit, and the waist is slim, but the hip section feels and looks too baggy compared to the waist and legs. Overall, it’s a good product, but the sizing proportions seem a little off.

over all good quality obviously but Levi's, why do you put this kind of hook %26 latch for a kids item? why not a snap button.

The material on these is incredibly rough scratchy and wears down quickly. My child has been wearing these about once a week and has warned them probably three times and they are already beginning to wear in places and look thread born. I am sorely disappointed by this product
