LG Smart Steam Closet, Dual TrueSteam, 5 Dynamic Moving Hangers

Back then, we mainly used it for heavy winter coats and puffer jackets just to cut down on dry cleaning bills. Fast forward a decade, and now that I've been living in the US for a while, I wanted to share how the newest model actually fits into our daily routine here. Look and Feel There are plenty of professional photos online, so I'll just share my real-world take. I really like that they added lighter color options instead of sticking only to the traditional dark finishes. It blends into the room a lot better, and the exterior has a really premium, high-end texture. Also, having worked in IT for about 20 years, I can be pretty picky about user interfaces. The new touch panel is a massive step up—it's wider, super intuitive, and gives you all the info you need at a glance without being overly complicated. The Hangers (A Huge Plus) Honestly, the biggest day-to-day improvement is the hangers. The older models came with relatively thin hangers, which sometimes let heavier clothes slip off during the shake cycle. LG clearly listened to feedback here. The new hangers are thick, substantial, and grip the clothes perfectly. It sounds like a minor detail, but it completely changes the usability for the better. Everyday Use & Odor Control We actually decided to put this unit right in our high schooler's room. If you have a teenager, you know that keeping their closet from smelling like a mix of stale sweat and outdoor grime is a constant battle. Running their clothes through the Styler completely gets rid of those odors overnight, leaving just a clean, fresh scent. De-Wrinkling & Room Dehumidifying The de-wrinkling cycle has been an absolute lifesaver. Our kid is involved in student performances and needs to wear delicate formal concert attire on a regular basis. Not having to constantly iron, steam, or run to the dry cleaner for performance outfits saves us a ton of time and stress. I also run my own dress pants through it now and then to keep them crisp. It's a fantastic feature for any dad who regularly wears suits to work, and it even works wonders on smoothing out stubborn wrinkles in linen pants. We actually debated putting the Styler in the laundry room at first. But between needing a quick spot to drop in daily-worn clothes and the built-in room dehumidifier, putting it directly in the bedroom was hands down the right call. Teenagers aren't exactly known for keeping their doors or windows open, and this feature keeps the air crisp, dry, and fresh without needing a separate loud appliance. Bottom Line If you're tired of running to the dry cleaner for delicate items, or if you struggle with keeping worn clothes fresh, the Styler is a really solid investment. Beyond clothing care, having that built-in room dehumidification genuinely improves the feel of the room. Highly recommended if you want to make your daily home routine a little easier.

It's amazing to be able to sanitize crib sheets, clothes, and even beloved baby dolls that aren't easy to wash every day. Knowing those items are being refreshed and sanitized with steam — no harsh chemicals — gives me so much peace of mind. I also have pretty bad allergies, so the fact that this steam closet helps reduce allergens and refresh hard-to-wash items is honestly a must. I toss in clothes that otherwise sit in the hamper forever and it feels like they come out dramatically fresher and cleaner than just airing them out. And okay… this is funny but totally true — it actually gets rid of that lingering KBBQ smell! 😂 No more “take-out scent” clinging to my clothes after a long weekend of Korean BBQ runs — this thing neutralizes it fast. Overall, it's incredibly versatile — from refreshing clothes in about 22 minutes to gently steaming and sanitizing delicate fabrics. It feels like a luxury, but one that actually improves daily life, especially with a little one and seasonal allergens around. Highly recommend!
