This is our second LG stackable washer and Dryer, we purchase our firsrt pare 13 years ago and
they needed reparts. So we decided to purchase new ones, the size and the pedestals so I do't have to bend over at age 76.

Great features

I really do love this washer and dryer.....however, there is one anomaly.  The dryer works wonderfully, but makes a continuously rhythmic light clicking sound. The dryer drum is designed in such a way that the outside ridges of the drum "knock" lightly against part of the frame, or something like that.  LG sent out an amazing LG expert.  All is well, but the noise.  We have to close a door we had not had to close with the old set.

Wet, wet, go away

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this Dryer after a lot of research on matching washers and dryers.  We downloaded the user's manual from the WEB site which helped us both appreciate and utilize the features of the product. Although highly satisfied, the dry sensor indicates clothes are dry. On some occasions it needs additional minutes to get completely dry. WIFI seems unnecessary and we're not sure we'll use it much. Overall, we are very satisfied with the purchase.

Excellent Product

These are replacing my 12 year old LG washer and dryer. Love the quality. These are quieter than my older models, clean and dry great, haven't tried the steam setting yet. Love the app that alerts you when the wash or dry is done, no more standing around waiting for it, and it let's you know whether you are at home or elsewhere, very cool.

I love this dryer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this dryer a couple of months ago and after a month use started noticing the heavy noise, requested for a tech visit and he confirmed that the motor has some problem and needs to be replaced. Cannot use the dryer until the motor is replaced. Not sure about the ETA.

Good product but maintenance required in a month

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is taking some time getting used to this dryer because of the wetness sensor turning off the dryer before the clothes are dry. It appears you really need to isolate the denser fabric clothing from the less dense or the machine will shut off pre-maturely. This is quite frustrating. However when the clothes are dry, they really come out with a lot less wrinkles. SO after we get used to how it operates it most likely will be the best dryer we have ever owned.

Excellent results; long learning curve

Have only had this for a couple of weeks now, but so far so good. We are having an issue with bigger items like sweaters/hoodies drying with the rest of the clothes so we usually take them out after a little bit and let them air dry on a hanger. Need to dive into the details a bit to figure out if it's some setting we arent using.
