Purchased a similar one in our last house from LG that did not have the extra cooling drawer and it was a great refrigerator - never any issues in the three years before we moved.  With the extra cooling drawer it is even a better refrigerator. More options on using the drawer and keeps everyone from opening the refrigerator all the way and standing deciding what they want for lunch.  The door-in-door option is great also - same reason as previous.  Have always had good luck with LG products in the past

At first we stood at the open door squinting at the magnificent LED lighting (lighting in the old fridge had been gone for years). The fruit/veggie drawers are a great design and they roll like a dream. Love the middle flex zone drawer, and even the not really necessary front access door for grabbing a quick thing. The sphere ice cubes really make it though- better than Applebees on a date night!

My husband was skeptical about this major purchase. He did not think we needed all the features. However, LG has gained a new satisfied customer.  This LG appliance offer more than having a basic refrigerator.  
*Three types of Ice- round Craft Ice, crushed ice & standard cubes. My guests absolutely love selecting the ice of their choice. 
*Full-Convert Drawer- With the high price of groceries, I able to purchase larger quantities at a lower price and have room for storage.
*InstaView -My favorite feature, knock on the door and see your selection of drinks.

A beautiful and useful addition

Love the look, holds a lot.  Disappointed you can’t fit a bottle of wine without removing a shelf in the refrigerator.  The middle drawer is a huge plus for our household.  We do store the unopened wine in it.  Both ice makers really nice and works well.  Water comes out at a nice pace.

I love all the features middle drawer, ice/water indoor plus the craft ice cubes in freezer compartment and the outer door to store most used items without opening the whole refrigerator.

I do like the versatility of the see through door and the drawer that can convert to 4 different coldness levels from wine to freezer.  However I’m on my 3rd craft ice maker, the indoor top ice maker doesn’t produce a lot of ice for more than 1 person that likes all drinks cold.   I also wish the shelves were able to move to more than 4 static positions.  Craft ice only makes up to 6 pieces per day.
It does run efficiently and has a lot of room on both doors for sauces, condiments, cans etc….  Nice room in the freezer and I love the ThinkQ app that allows me to manage and receive alerts for my LG Fridge.    It’s been very helpful!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although we have only had this refrigerator for a month, we like the space, the ice makers (especially the craft ice) and how quiet it is, So far it appears to keep temperature relatively consistently, but we'll see how that goes in the future. I was reluctant to make the purchase based on LG's compressor issues in the past, so I'm hoping that has been fixed. This appliance looks good in the kitchen and the drawers/compartments are well designed and roomy. The door-in-door feature is also useful. So far we are happy with the purchase.

I have had this refrigerator for about 3 months.  We purchased solely for the craft ice maker. Love it!!  It has the room and the versatility that we were looking.  So if they can get the craft ice maker to work better, it willl be hands down best fridge.

When you pay that much for an appliance, I expect it to work properly!  Terrible fridge. It should have been completely replaced, but instead, they just keep sending technicians that don’t know what they’re doing.
