The best feature on this grinder set is the light that lights up when you tip them over to start your grind. It provides a light over your food surface and allows you to see the salt or pepper falling instead of leaving you guessing how much you have dispensed like a traditional shaker. I received this grinder set in return for an honest review. These grinders come filled and include batteries in the box so they are ready to go when you open them. They are gravity fed, so once you put the batteries in, just turn them upside down and the grinding begins! There is light when grinding so you can see how much is being dispensed. The stainless finish with the glass is very high-end and substantial in weight. Easy to use!
