Wanted a quantum dot tv and came across this JVC.  While they got out of the US market, they have continued to make TVs in Asia.  Did some research and these sets are the premium line over there.  They are using them to break back into the market here.  At $600 (got on sale), amazing value.  Bright, colors pop, vivid picture, everything expected from QD.  Is it better than a Samsung QD, no, but it's darn close, and half the price at same screen size.  My 12 yr old daughter didn't know I had it, first time she turned it on she asked if it was new.  I asked how she could tell, “the picture is brighter, and the colors are more accurate”.  There you go.

Highly recommend this HDR TV at this price. If you have issues with the remote, replace the batteries; comes with low charged batts.  Didn't like that this bad boy didnt have a optical audio out, but it makes up for it with its screencast and price.  I use a coaxial digital out and it works great. If you use integrated apps (Netflix, Vudu, Pandora, Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, AccuWeather, and Screencast), audio may be a bit out of sync. To get passed this. I run apps off your 4k bluray player. All in all, cant beat this 65-inch 4K HDR for $450. Buy it now, before it gets expensive.

Clean Crisp Display

I purchased it because of the JVC site saying it's a qdot, but after the purchase when I called Sams club for processing my return as its ARC port does not work when receiver is set to TV and TV playing Netflix, YouTube etc as all the speakers have a distorted noise. I could not believe since I had used JVC in the past but this was a BAD experience. ARC port does not work with three receivers I tried Dennon and  Onkyo. Anyhow when I called to set up a return, I was told that JVC website has a typo and this is not a Qdot tv.

I bought this TV about 3 weeks ago and had mixed feelings about it.  The colors were brilliant, but the name QLED, I was disappointed in the quality of the qled picture.

Nice color but not the QLED I expected

I grew up using jvc so I thought I would try this. It said no shipping cost then it charged me. . shipped march 2 2019 and was delivered with a smashed screen on march 10th but the 11th they scheduled my replacement. Thought it was going smoothly. Then I had to send pics and contact them once the delivery people picked up the damaged tv which took a while bc they aren't in town. So on March 26 my tv is delivered. Screen is ok. Turn it on and the quality is horrible. Completely horrid. The screen had shadows all around the edges and at 45 min the screen went black. Shut it off and turn it back on and 25 min later screen is black again. So I grt on samsclub chat and am told I can return it to the store. I call the tv returns people to make sure and again am told in can return it to the store. I even call my local samsclub. So I bring it there and they can't return it bc there is a note saying non returnable due to it not being shipped to my house. Even tho I have it in my possession ajd they sent me an email stating it was in fact shipped and delivered. The nice ladies call up samsclub.com and they are hung up on. One man asked to speak w me and blamed issues on the 2 ladies helping me then he too hung up on me. Thankfully those managers at my local store helped. Dont by this tv. And don't buy any tv online bc the 2 shipping companies aren't good either

Horrible image if it comes working

Tried to set this tv up and we could not get it to turn on.  The screen was black.  We never got anything.

Would not come on.
