We decided to pick up some of this milk to put back for emergency. When I got it, I opend the can to transfer it into a Mylar bag to extend the shelf life. I took that opportunity to make a glass and taste it. This milk tasted EXACTLY like whole milk.

I knew this milk had to pass the final and most difficult test: The Picky Child Test.
I pourd some in a glass and gave it to my son. He drank it and didnt say a word! He didnt have a clue it was powered. I would definitely recommend this milk. 5 Stars here!

EXCELLENT Product!

This is pretty good, certainly better than the dry, non-fat variety.  An excellent substitute if you can't get to the store or the shelves are empty when you do.  Texture is good.  Tastes best when refrigerated.  The expiration is 15 months out from purchase, making this a very good buy for the pantry/emergencies.

Pretty close to the real thing...

We are glad to have this option.  We really like Horizon Organic milk , and we tuck this away so we will never run out of milk. I have used it in my coffee - and I like using it because I don't have to heat regular milk to prevent it from  cooling my coffee when I put it in.  I can use this simple powdered milk and the temperature of my hot beverage does not change.  I hate those little creamers - very unhealthy, ( as is powdered creamer) so this is just a fantastic option - and healthy.

We like it - healthier than artificial creamers

We keep it at our pantry at all times. It doesn’t matter whether it’s made in a large or small batch, it still has a great taste.It has came in handy when we have had lengthy power outages and weren’t able to get milk at nearby stores. Makes awesome hot chocolate!

Keep a container in my pantry at all times:)

I like to eat cereal sometimes, but keeping milk fresh is a problem. I now make up 16 oz of milk and let it chill in the frig overnight. Tastes great and never goes sour. Great taste.

A great alternative to a quart of fresh milk

I use this as a coffee creamer - doesn't dilute my coffee or change the tempature of my coffee. I always have it on hand, especially during hurricane season when the electricity goes out. It is great when I run out of milk or if my milk has expired and I need milk for a recipe.

Favorite "Coffee Creamer"

I have bought this milk in the dry form and the liquid in small boxes. I didn’t know if the grandchildren would like it (it’s shelf stable so easy to keep on hand). They loved it. They didn’t want to go back to regular milk.

Dry milk

It's good, but the taste is definitely that of powdered milk. I do like the way it dissolved in hot coffee. Many powdered milks just clump in hot beverages

Good, but could be a little better

I don't drink milk and never tasted this product as only reconstituted milk. I use this only in recipes. Occasionally when I bake, the recipe calls for milk or buttermilk.  I can't see buying a half gallon of milk just for a cup or less. Then, having to throw away the rest or take the time to measure portions to freeze.  This organic powder milk is perfect for my needs.  I can just use what is needed for a recipe and stored away until I need it again.  If I need buttermilk, I add vinegar and tbs of butter for added fat to the reconstituted milk.  I can't tell the difference in recipes. I am glad this product is organic. I also hope the cows are pasture raised grass fed.

Great for recipes

Has a strange taste, it must be the added dunfower lecithin.  I went back and purchased the Members Mark nonfat instant dry milk, which tasted beyter.
