Heinz ketchup is a staple in our house. It is great as a condiment and also as ingredients. It goes well on burgers, fries, hot dogs and so many other dishes. It has a pleasant aftertaste, no bitterness unlike some other ketchup brands. It is great in BBQ sauce.

There is no substitute.

There's things that you can cheap out on and then there's things that you can't. I could blind taste test this name brand product easily. I bought an off-brand at Aldis and instantly regretted it. I now buy the Heinz product by the two pack when I can so I don't have to substitute. As long as you shake it before you use it, you'll never be disappointed. It's a must-have when making some homemade sauces. And I couldn't imagine not having this on my eggs with a little black pepper.

I honestly don't think that I've ever bought any other type of ketchup and I don't ever remember seeing a bottle of ketchup in my mother's kitchen that wasn't the same brand as we've always used this brand it's a really good quality catch up it's not watered down it's just the right thickness we even put it over the top of meatloaf
