I was able to prepare the desired dish with little or no effort, and the end result was very satisfactory. I was able to have them shipped in only one day later than it took to shop at a store. Southwest flavor in the northeast
I'm so happy to have found hatch green chilies! I am from Northwest Colorado, but now living in southwest New York State. In Colorado Hatch Chili’s are a kitchen staple. I would buy them in 1 to 3 pound frozen packages, and canned Chili’s for my pantry. But green chilies are nowhere to be found in New York state. In fact, New York State does not know the true essence of Mexican food. Finding these chilies has allowed me to make pork green chili, and homemade tamales for my family. The best part is having the taste of the southwest on our dinner plates.
