Love this mixer! It is so powerful and runs very quiet. Loved it so much I purchased one for  my daughter. We both do a lot of cooking/baking, and it will be put to the real test!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this Hamilton Beach hand held mixer. It is a more modern version of a Hamilton Beach hand held mixer I have had and loved for years.
This new one came with coated beaters. I used the beaters to make mashed potatoes which did not cling to the beaters and were easy to clean. It came with dough hooks which I doubt I will use, but you never know. And it also came with a whisk that is my favorite. I used it to make a lovely, fluffy mousse. 
The other feature I found very useful was the “burst” button on top. It worked well when I needed the extra little bit of mixing energy.
The beater release lever is new since my older model. But I found I had to be careful when pressing the “burst” button as I had a tendency to accidently pull the beater release lever at the same time. 
The plastic case is convenient for keeping all of the pieces together but I have found it difficult to assemble and disassemble as my hands are not so strong. Hopefully with time it will loosen up.   
I'm sure I will get many years of use from it.

Really like it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can attest to the longevity of Hamilton Beach products. My first and only hand mixer is a Hamilton Beach, that was given to me at my wedding shower, in 1987. The marriage didn't last,  but my mixer did! Its worked perfectly for over 30 years, so when I had the chance to try a new model, I  was thrilled. This 7 speed pro model is fantastic. It comes with 3 different types of beaters, is very powerful yet is also very quiet. Im so happy with this mixer and im thoroughly impressed with its performance and the long life of Hamilton Beach products.

Wow! Great mixer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have used this mixer a few times now and really like it. It is the most quiet handheld mixer we have ever used. The trigger release for the attachments is very handy. The speed is set by a dial that is right under you thumb. Very easy to quickly change speeds and very easy to see what speed your on by the LED indicator. Pushing down on the speed button give you a momentary burst in speed and will not stay on which is nice. Having the standard mixing blades coated in silicone allows for use in non-stick pans. The only thing that we have noticed is you need to go slow at first, get your dry goods mixed then speed up. Over all we would give this mixer a 5.

Great Handheld Mixer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really nice hand mixer! It looks really classy and I love the rubber coated beaters. It is definitely alot better for mixing in metal and glass bowls. 
I like all the different speeds that it has.(7)  It is alot quieter than my old one. It also doesn't flip batter out as much either. It starts out slower and then picks up speed.
The cord is a good length. It does come with dough hooks which I've never had before. I am excited to use them.  There is also a whisk which is awesome for whipping cream and egg whites. I like the storage container which has plenty of room for the attachments and cord. This mixer is well made and strong. I really like it and am very pleased with it!!

Okay Hamilton, now make the blender cordless. It would make life easier for people with small kitchens with limited outlets.

My Hamilton Beach Professional 7-speed electric hand mixer, which I recently received, arrived with a burnt motor, indicating a factory error, I believe. I had to return it to the store because when I plugged it in for the first time, I could smell the motor, which is not normal at all!
