I tossed in my tomatoes,  jalapeno & onion and within a minute I had fresh salsa. Quick clean up and not loud like my other blenders I've had in the past. If you are looking for excellent quality at an affordable price this is the blender for you!!

Wow! Pleasantly surprised!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used this blender almost daily since getting it and it exceeds my expectations. 
It's not just good for smoothies and milkshakes. I've used it for muffins and batters and look forward to soups in the cooler weather. The internet has may great sounding recipes.
The base is heavy for stability and has a powerful motor. My model doesn't have a removable blade, but the "clean" cycle works great, so that's not a problem. The only downside is no handle on the blender jar. I have very small hands, so it's difficult to grip with one hand, but even that wouldn't be a  problem for most people. I highly recommend this product.

It's much quieter than my previous blenders and though I'm sure all the parts were probably made in the same place as every other blender I've owned, this one just feels like it's better quality. It's easy to clean and so far, everything I've blended comes out smooth and silky.. I haven't made an actual smoothie but the vegetables and fruit purees that I've made have been amazingly smooth. My only complain is that the actual blending vase is a bit small (only 4 cups) and I am used to cook in bigger batches... I will adapt. I highly recommend this blender!

Excellent blending and much quieter than others

I use this blender about five mornings a week for a breakfast smoothie.  It is reasonably quiet and does a good job uniformly blending the ingredients, which range from spinach to seeds to frozen fruit.  The plastic blender jar did split after just a few months, but Hamilton Beach was responsive in addressing this matter under warranty. I now wash the jar by hand and no longer in the dishwasher (top shelf only when I did use the dishwasher) and so far so good with the replacement.

Great Blender

Awesome Power!

I’ve lived this blender and used it frequently for almost exactly 13 months. A week ago I noticed the washer on the bottom is loose.

Ok for a year but then…

This blender was the worst ive ever purchased. Didnt work and on top of that it was smaller than we had imagined. We ended up returning it the same day
