Goodyear WinterCommand Ultra - 215/45R17/XL 91H Tire

I purchased these for my 2024 Tesla Model 3 as I nearly slid off the road in light snow in the OEM Michelin Primacy's. They provide dramatically improved winter performance as expected. I was assuming ride quality and noise would suffer since this is not specifically an EV tuned tire. Much to my surprise road noise is only slightly more noticeable and ride quality is also quite good. They are a great upgrade for winter safety in the Northeast. These turn the Tesla AWD into a very capable winter vehicle. Very happy with Sam's Club installation. Service was fast. The cost per tire to install at $20 is the best deal around and I get two free as a Plus member. You can't beat it.

I went in about 3 weeks ago, asked them to check my tires for winter wear and if they needed to be changed out, They were old, but I do not drive much. I was told yes and an appointment was set up. I get there for the appointment, 1) tires not there, 2) the guy behind the counter, different guy, went out to the car and came in to say that yes they are old but I did not need tires. I did my grocery shopping, highly confused, on the way out I stopped to check on getting the headlights cleaned. This 3rd guy asked why the appointment for the tires was cancelled, I explained, he checked the car and came back in and said they did need to be changed, The tires I had ordered were there now, so now the one hour appointment, now take 3 hours and I need to come back for the headlight. What is happening? I did the quarter trick in the tread but it showed the whole head which I have been told is a sign for new tires. Then the next day, my air pressure in the tires range anywhere from 35-39 and all my tires had different pressures. I went back in and was told that there was no problem with the tires, it must be the tires pressure sensor and they did fix that. Now, all 4 are different pressure and due change as I drive, but I never had the problem with the sensors before the new tires. I called again, to see if they do work on the tires sensors, I could not understand the girl that answered but she is not at my location, and had no idea. She told me that she would get a representative for me and after a brief hold came back to tell me that my store did not answer because they have a high call volume. The 4 times I have been by or in the tire shop there, they were never busy, so not sure why they are every time I tried to call. Totally bad experience and I guess I need to go get my tire sensors fix and pay for them. I will never come back to Sam's for tires. That whole experience was uncalled for.
