We love our new area rug. We recently remodeled the main floor of our home and needed an area rug for our foyer. Looks great, has nice texture and design.

My robovacuum seemed to find a flaw, then made it worse when vacuuming. I returned the rug and looked at the same one in store. There was a visible loose loop on a new one there! So this is not well-made. Do not buy, unless you enjoy hauling it back to return it.

This rug is nice looking, but it smells terrible.  We have had it unrolled and in our room with for 5 days with air purifiers and fans and the off gassing smell is terrible.  I bought this from the store so it wasn't wrapped in anything, but the plastic to keep it rolled prior to opening.  It seems so toxic.   Also within those 5 days has had 2 pulls along the edge.  This is in our bedroom so not high traffic.  Will be returning.

Terrible smell

The rug was beautiful. It was just what we wanted but returned it after one week.  The odor was awful and it filled the house and gave me a sore throat.  We took to patio to air it out.  For one week we changed out the baking soda, flipped cart around and had air circulating with two fans.  We tried one more time indoors but the strong chemical odor was still there.

We have another high pile rug by same manufacturer purchased years ago and never had an issue.  Manufacturing has unfortunately changed.
