The Genie Smart 1 HPc Belt Drive Garage Door Opener With integrated LED Lighting is packed with features. This quiet garage door opener features a steel-reinforced belt, which is ideal for garages located close to living spaces. It features a 1600 lumen integrated led lighting system that illuminates the entire garage. 

This smart garage door opener includes integrated Wi-Fi technology that allows you to monitor and control your garage door from your smartphone. It has a powerful DC motor with Geniesense Technology. It includes two Intellicode pre-programmed remotes, a super-bright LED lighting system and a multifunction wall console. 

The Genie Safe-T-Beam system ensures your faily's safety with an infrared beam of light across the door opening that reverses the door if an object interferes with the light beam. This opener operates a 7 ft tall sectional residential garage door (not 1-piece).  

If your door is 8 ft tall, you can add the genie EKTB belt extension kit to accomodate the door (up to 500 lbs). It's easy to install with pre-programmed remotes.

Excellent, quiet, powerful, remotes and wif

This is an excellent garage door opener. It even connects to wifi, so you can open and close remotely using your phone. I replaced an old Genie chain drive that was 1/3 horsepower. This one is much more powerful. Those who are complaining that it isn't powerful have obviously over- tightened the belt. The belt does not need to be super tight. That causes drag. It was fairly easy to install using the existing mounts from the previous garage door opener.It took me a total of a couple of hoiurs, including setting up the remotes. Everything works well. The instructions were clear. And I connected it to the remote and to a keypad remote I had from the previous one. It's extremely quiet and causes no problems at all.

Extremely quiet and fairly easy to install. Just needed help mounting the brackets to the ceiling. Cannot get over how quiet the unit is. Used old wires that were with old unit and things went very smoothly.

Excellent Garage door opener, competitively priced

This is a great garage door opener for an excellent price. The belt drive makes the unit a lot quieter than my old opener which had a chain. It's been a while since my last install of a garage door opener but all went as planned. The interactive instructions provided through BILT were easy to follow. The opener uses rolling codes for higher security so is took a few tries to get it to work with my car's HomeLink. However I was able to easily replicate the process for my other vehicles. I love the fact that the garage door opener connects to my WiFi as it allows me to check the status of the garage door from anywhere and also open & close the garage remotely.
