Great Generator with tons of power

Bought this generator to power four refrigerator/freezers in the event of power loss. It performed like a champ for two days straight. More than enough power for the four plus lots in reserve. It is a heavy generator (200+ lbs) to move, but I can live with that considering the fantastic oversized wheels and well designed handles to move it around. After putting together and filling with oil and gas (approximately 30 minutes), it took only two pulls of the rope to start. Electric start was not used because battery was low. Charger for battery did not seem to charge enough to use electric start. I would recommend having a portable jump starter if you plan to use the electric start. Quieter than I expected when running. Hobbs meter to view total operating time is a great plus to know when to service. Well designed circuit breaker for the multiple outlets. Bottom line -- this is a great value generator that I would recommend.

Solid Generator

My generator has worked flawlessly since I purchased it. Unfortunately I have been unable to get it to work as I had intended, which is to run my pool circulation pump during winter power outages. I have verified through multiple electrical experts that my connection from the generator to the pool equipment is correct. My next step is to adjust the Hertz output down to 60 from the 62 it is currently producing. Any direction you can provide me to make that adjustment would be sincerely appreciated.

Solid, well-made unit.

This generator is everything it claims to be. Easy to set-up, use and is reliable. I hooked it up to my home for a test-run the day after I received it. It started up instantly and powered the entire "critical function" sub-panel in my home (HVAC, water/well, freezers/refrigerators, water heater (gas), water softener, garage door, washer/dryer (gas), WIFI/network and critical lights/outlets). We built our home in 1998 (just prior to "Y2K", ha!) and included the sub-panel. I toyed with the idea of now installing a whole-home generator - but that would have been an $8-10K investment - this was <$1K. For the roughly one power outage we experience every 2-3 years, this is a good, economical solution.
