I do a lot of curbside pickup since I and other members of my family are high-risk for Covid complications. There are a LOT of places that hand off the oldest or less unsavory produce to the curbside folks, but with Sam's I've never had that issue because all of their produce has been very fresh. These apples are tasty and they last a good long time before going bad, so our family of three usually takes a few weeks to go through the whole bag and they're still just fine down to the last one.
