Its waterproof, UV- and weather-resistant design features 8W Twin SCT motors that are salt- and chlorine-tolerant, along with dual-propeller steering for smooth movement. An anti-stranding bar ensures effective cleaning in shallow water zones, making it suitable for all pool types.

Used once, suddenly stopped working on second use

This was the first time I ever purchased a robotic skimmer, I thought the price was reasonable, so I bought and used it one time and it worked wonderfully and really liked it. The next time I used it, about a week later, it would not propel around the pool on the automatic function, but instead just floated, so it wasnt very effective in pulling in the debris. It would only "drive" around the pool, meaning the propellers would only move, if I used the manual control on the app the entire time, which would take longer than if I just skimmed the pool with a net. It wasn't a problem with the sensors or anything, because I cleaned them according to the trouble shooting guide. There was nothing I did to cause damage to it either, it just suddenly wouldnt work properly. I decided I didnt want to the hassel of an unreliable product so just returned it. I figured I got what II paid for and this was probably not a higher end skimmer.

Solar Vac Robot Pool Skimmer is Awesome

Works perfectly. We have a lot of grass that we have to mow close to our pool and lots of grass clippings get blown in to the water. Normally I have to take the net and manually skim the clippings before they settle to the bottom. The pool skimmer vac takes care of all that for me and keeps the pool looking great. Also gets random debris that may be missed by the in wall skimmers. The Bluetooth app is also very easy to use and intuitive. Couldn't be happier with this purchase.

Pool is not clean with cleaner

Terrible picking up most stuff on the top of the pool. Picks up large leaves but then lets it go as it moves around the pool which defeats the purpose. Doesn't pick up the smaller stuff at all.
