Works surprisingly well! I never expected such a 'budget' detergent to compare well against the 'big boy' brand names, but Foca sure does hold its own! It truly works as well if not better than any other brand I have tried.  For me the lighter scent is a plus, and as for the cheap bag it comes in, I just dump mine into a plastic storage container in my laundry room.

I can't attack this from a scientist angle, but this performs powerfully without requiring a lot of detergent. I find it to be much more efficient and long-lasting than liquid detergents (which also tend to encourage you to use more product than necessary to ultimately buy more). It really doesn't take that much, and works fantastically at sucking the grunk out of light to heavy laundry loads, while leaving them smelling fresh.

Your clothes aren't as clean as possible if you're not using Foca! This laundry detergent has outstanding stain fighters, a pleasant scent and brightens whites while keeping colors vibrant.
I switched to Foca from Gain for the huge savings not knowing if it worked. It is excellent, I highly recommend and you'll be quite pleased with how clean it gets your laundry.

I've been buying this detergent for more than 3 years. I really don't know its effect on ecology, but as per packaging it is phosphate free, at least.  it cleans clothes well. it does create a lot foam if add too much. in such cases I use 2 rinses. it's very affordable.
so, I'm happy with this detergent : it cleans, it saves money.

Affordable and good

Laundry soap that is reasonably priced and affordable. This product cleans well. It has a bold scent (it's pleasant) so if you're sensitive to scents this product might not be for you. However, if scent isn't a concern for you, you can get a lot more bang for your buck with a laundry soap that cleans as well as brand-name laundry soap. Plus, this soap is better for the environment. I'm glad I tried this brand of soap. I recommend it. I'll purchase this again.

Reasonably Priced Quality Laundry Soap!

Thankful for this laundry detergent. The produce cleans and leaves clothes smelling fresh, not unpleasant. It comes at a very low cost, and no worries about recycling big plastic jugs—a significant all-around product in terms of packaging, effeteness, and price.

Why pay more?

I had little to no expectations for this, but thought I'd give it a shot because it had good reviews and the reviewers weren't paid or compensated. I'd been using Tide and sometimes clothes would still come out smelly, despite cleaning the machine after so many cycles. Things I love about this powder detergent: economical, little goes a long way, smells good but isn't overpowering, and doesn't leave a perfumed scent over bad smells. I'm really into scented body lotions and perfumes and the smell doesn't compete with or overpower my scents. This gets the smell out of sweaty clothes better than anything I've ever used and I've used EVERYTHING in the detergent aisle. It's just as effective at removing stains and smells with cold water. I store it in a plastic container with a lid and measuring scoop so I don't have to scoop out of the bag. My clothes look great and smell clean! 10/10 will continue to use this. FYI I use the blue Suavitel fabric softener with this and the scents work perfectly together.

Hidden Gem, Amazing!

This is such a great value. I only need to buy 2-3 bags a year as a single fashionista with sensitive skin. 1 cup of this %26 I add 1/4 cup borax as a laundry booster or 1/2 cup for tougher stains. Even combined with that it's wayyyy cheaper than liquid detergents especially for sensitive skin. 10 out of 10 recommend, Never switching back to liquid

Great for sensitive skin

I have always disliked powdered laundry soap but after watching several cleaning videos of people using it online I figured I'd give it a try the smell is amazing the suds are amazing it works really well it's very great price and it's not full of extra non-needed chemicals like all the American-made detergents I'll never switch back

I will never look back to American laundry deterge

I love this powder detergent! It leaves clothes feeling fresh and looking bright. I'd recommend using it primarily for white and light-colored clothes for the best results. Personally, I prefer using it with hot water—letting the washer fill completely before adding the detergent ensures it dissolves well and works its magic.

Foca Powder Detergent

Not sure what's in there, but I was not only put off by the blue coloring (thought it was white) but there were large chunks of sand clumps. Yes. Brown sand that I could break up with my fingers. See photo. I don't understand who doesn't notice this? I'll never purchase this again.
