With more headrest height and legroom, it supports extended rear-facing use. The machine-washable seat pad ensures easy cleanup, while the one-hand carry handle adjustment allows effortless access to get your baby in and out of the car seat. The UPF 50+ canopy features a zip-open, full-coverage privacy shield for added protection.

Extended Rear-Facing Use

This car seat is equipped with a 5-position Easy-Extend Headrest System that adjusts with the harness to accommodate growth up to 32 inches tall, enabling longer rear-facing use. The integrated anti-rebound bar enhances stability during rides and provides extended legroom for growing babies. A removable, ergonomic newborn positioner offers additional support for infants weighing 4 to 11 pounds.

The KeyFit® Max Zip ClearTex® comes with a stay-in-car car seat base for seamless installation. Can’t ever go wrong with Chicco

Chicco does it again and does not disappoint! This car seat comes with so many great features. One of my favorites is the full coverage privacy shield build in which allows you to use in the car, on the go in a stroller or carrying it. Another favorite feature is the option for on the go installation where you do not necessarily need another base. This car seat is well-made, has soft fabric, and comes with easy installation. Such a high quality product in every way. Totally worth the investment! Safe, durable and lightweight.
