  • Prime Teak Craftsmanship: This Adirondack chair is constructed from prime, 100% plantation-grown Indonesian teak, expertly sanded to a silky-smooth finish and inherently weather-resistant.
  • Comfortable Seating Design: Engineered for relaxation, the chair incorporates a deep seat complemented by wide armrests.
  • Natural Weathering Process: Unfinished teak will naturally age to a silver-gray color over time, a transformation that does not impact the furniture's durability or function.
  • Finish Maintenance: To preserve a smooth finish and reduce potential splinters, regular sanding of the furniture is recommended.
  • Color Retention Guidance: For maintaining the original golden-brown shade, apply teak oil or compatible clear protective coatings, adhering to the manufacturer's specific recommendations.
  • Stain Permanence Note: Staining is permanent; once applied, teak will not revert to its natural colors without extensive sanding. Prior sanding is essential if staining weathered wood.

About this item

Product details

Constructed of prime Indonesian teak, sanded to a silky-smooth finish. Naturally weather-resistant 100% plantation-grown teak wood, our chair is created to invite relaxation with a deep seat and wide armrests.

Teak Care & Maintenance

Teak wood, when left bare and unfinished, will naturally fade to a silver-gray color. This transformation does not in any way affect the functionality and durability of the furniture. It is recommended to sand the furniture in regular intervals to maintain a smooth finish. This will also reduce the potential in wood splinters and other hazards. For customers who would like to maintain the original golden-brown color, one may best apply teak oil or other compatible clear protective coatings. Please follow the recommendation of the protective coating manufacturer in both application and the frequency.

Teak wood is a living material that breathes and changes over time. If you choose to maintain the smooth golden-brown finish, it will require regular maintenance, such as sanding and reapplication of a protective coating. We hope that will be a rewarding experience, as well-maintained teak furniture may last many years to come.

Please note, once you stain your teak, it will not return to the natural golden brown or weathered silver-gray color without sanding off the stain. Staining is intended to be permanent. If you choose to stain your furniture after it has turned silver-gray, you must first sand it before applying the stain.

    Great product and material

This chair is an outstanding value. Although another reviewer thought the wood was thin, the construction is identical to another chair I bought 10 years ago (at more than 2x the price I just paid!!). My older chair stays outside year round and is still in great shape...I am sure this one will be the same. It took me about 15 minutes to assemble (very simple...just a screw driver)...if I bought more they would go together in 5-10 minutes.

    LOVE THIS CHAIR

This chair is perfect. It's a fantastic value and is the EXACT same chair sold in a very high end catalog that rhymes with "Brandintoad" which is a subsidiary of Frontgate for over double the price. Super quality and very easy to put together. The only drawback is that there is no teak ottomon sold to go with it.

    Good chairs

They look good, but I haven’t seen them turn gray yet. Hoping I’ll still like them. Easy to assemble. Smaller footprint than our last Adirondack chairs, slightly smaller seat but no guests have had issues with it. We got these because teak seems the most durable.
