Becker Vineyards Tempranillo is a blend of four Texas Tempranillo vineyards with the addition of Touriga Nacional and Grenache. Tempranillo is a balanced wine with layers of fruit and tannin, allowing varietal expression. Upon decanting, you are greeted by a deep floral nose and dried cherries, followed by dark notes of earth and tobacco, developing into aromas of cooking spices and red fruits. Flavors of black pepper, mild smoke, unfolds displaying intriguing notes of red fruit and herbs. The addition on Touriga Nacional and Grenache complement the red fruit notes and tannic structure of Tempranillo, bringing what we feel is a sublime wine, complete with voluptous fruit and herbs with a pleasant lingering finish.
