Only have 100 miles on them but I like the channels for diverting water. Haven’t been in any big rain events yet so we’ll see how they perform. Seem quite as well.

Great tire to avert hydroplaning

I'm working on my second set of the COMP-2s!  I originally purchased these for my BMW 328i (w/ M-sport suspension) in 2018.  Such a fantastic tire that when the rears started to wear, I repurchased the COMPs.  The fronts are now due for replacement (after 29,000 mi), and I will buy these without hesitation.  They are an excellent performance tire, a great highway tire (comfortable), and yes, they will handle some light snow that we get here in northern Texas.  They feel more like a Summer High Performance tire than an All-Season tire.  The local tire dealer tried to talk me out of them this time, but I am super loyal to this tire (even though I don't really need an all-season here in Texas; and even though I wanted to try the BF Goodrich Phenom).  I just like these tires!

I purchased these tires for my 1973 Pontiac Formula 455 Firebird. I upgraded to 17x9 Year One Rally II wheels and installed these 275/40R 17 Conp TA AS. I wanted a tire that looked good and performed well in wet and dry conditions. I have had many BFGs over the years and thought that these would be the right pick. This survey doesn't even go back to the year my Pontiac is, :( . I had to pick the oldest year listed.

Best choice for my Formula 455.

This is my second  set. I wouldn't run anything else on my car. Great long lasting tires. Perfect all season tires with great ride comfort and style.

Great tires.

Just as good as the Michelin Cross Climate2 but at a much affordable price! The tread depth could be better at 10/32 instead of the 9/32.

Fantastic Performing All Season Tire

Mileage wear warranty is 45,000 miles.  I got 16,000 miles. 
Tires would not pass inspection, yet only had 16,000 miles of use.

Didn't get half of mileage wear rating.

Bought a new set of theses one year ago. 
That were good until about 6k miles, now they are unbearable loud. Have had balance/ rotation completed twice in 8 months. Does not help. 
Tire prices have gone up very high, so to have a tire with great tread left but so noisy it is hard to bear is unacceptable.

Noisy

terrible tire. I've never had all 4 tires wall crack with a little over a year in buying them. They were good in the beginning but quickly started to wear out I've had issues with them.

Installed these tires yesterday and immediately noticed a serious handling issue. At any speed and on all road surfaces, the car feels unstable — almost as if it’s floating. There’s a constant swaying or “squirrely” sensation that makes the car feel disconnected from the road. Steering feels vague and unpredictable; after turning in one direction, the car feels like it shifts drastically in the opposite direction, requiring correction. It also feels as though any sudden maneuver could upset the vehicle’s balance and cause it to veer uncontrollably.

While adjusting tire pressures helped, the issue remains. I believe the sidewalls are overly soft, and that mounting them on the minimum recommended 6.5" rim may be contributing to the problem. For a performance all-season tire, this level of instability is disappointing and feels nearly unsafe.

Unstable and Disconnected Feel

These tire are garbage, a little over 35,000 km and I’m told not to drive on them as they are coming apart and dangerously unsafe. I was told not to buy name brand as there’s better tires out there. The warranty with all the fine print may as well not exist (I’m being told “don’t hold your breath”) these tire are on a summer cruiser and not abused.
