I've been an Apple products user for decades. I love the fact that Apple controls the hardware, operating system and software for all of their products, including my new iPad 11th generation (A16). I was coming from an iPad 9th generation and knew it would take some getting used to, but the changes all seem useful and intuitive. I love the fact the volume switch UP-DOWN buttons automatically change, based on the orientation of the iPad, although I thought I was losing my mind at first! The home button is no longer used on this version, but most of those functions are now easily completed by swiping the screen in defined directions. I like the combination on-button and finger print reader too! The display is bright and looks awesome. The sound is output to a set of speakers on both ends of the iPad and the sound output is excellent! I'm still getting used to my new iPad, but I definitely love everything about it so far!

I bought this iPad with a check I got from school. I was about to have a surgery that would leave me unable to sit up or have a computer in my lap for two weeks. The surgery was scheduled when I only had two weeks of school left before I graduated. 

I was able to do all of my schoolwork, discussion, tests, and quizzes, on the iPad. It worked faster than the computer I had for school. 

Even more so, I'm able to homeschool my children even easier on this iPad. It makes school much more fun for them and has led to fewer fights to get them to do school. 

Overall, it's a great product for multiple of our needs.

Went beyond my expectations

Love this ipad for what I need it for.   The ONLY thing I don't like is there is no audio port for headphones.  I guess everything runs with bluetooth now, so no wires....I just had to order those.  Love it for the price though!  Cheaper than anywhere else you can buy an Apple Ipad!

I've purchased cheaper tablets by unknown names and they have all either never worked or broke in a short time. This Apple product is perfect for a 7 year old. My only complaint is that the price in store should be the same as online. I shouldn't have to go home and order it to save $50, but I will. After ordering online, went back to store within 2 hours to pick it up.

Nice Tablet

I am a Samsung person- switching to iPhone- and I will say this is a lot easier than I thought it was going to be. 
There are so many apps on it that make it so worth it! It's fast. It's slim. 
If you're contemplating it? Don't. Just get it. I promise it's worth it.

Samsung user vs IPad

I didn't love that the ad was misleading, it makes it seem as if you'll be getting an apple pen and Magic Keyboard and even the listing details says something about them, but then in another place says they're sold separately. That's very misleading, the ad could be better and not placed in the photos like it's included. The iPad itself was great and works amazingly. We did store pick up and had no issues in that area.

Great product, misleading ad

It's not bad but was very hard to get used to after just having an iPad Pro 11…a lot of difference.  But for the price it will work till I can go on to something else.  Don't get though if you are used to having face recognition to open apps…this one has to use the side button with a finger print and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.

The device is top quality and worth the price but Apple has screwed up by changing the software so it is not consistent with what the last iOS was. It is now rather than a simple to use device , it has made so many changes with all kinds of options that is now difficult to use.  Note Apples fault, not Walmart!

Bad Apple update

This is my first iPad; however, I have had a few iPhones and I have liked those; it is interesting how Apple links everything together whether you want it or not; but afternoon some reading on-line I discovered how to undo some of the automation that I did not want.

I do wish that Apple would spend a little more money and include a GPS with the iPad, it would make it much more useful for my purposes.

Overall, I suppose it is a nice tablet.

Okay for simple tasks

I purchased this for my daughter for Christmas.  She was able to transfer her items from her old Ipad to the new one but after the transfer her new Ipad is frozen.  It turns on,  but no functions can be done.  It is frozen and not usable.  Very dissapointed and when they open back up tomorrow we are taking it back.
