I bought this for camping.   I have since found myself using it all the time, whether work around the house or while camping.   It has great sound, even at low levels on campgrounds.

Perfect camping speaker

Item was on clearance for $29 The sound quality exceeded my expectations. Only wish I could have bought more than one since they are thinkable

Big sound small price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this on clearance for half off at 70$. Good volume and decent bass. Doubt I would have paid full price though. Over 100$ go with a JBL.

Nice medium sized speaker

Great sounding speaker but needs to be replaced long lasting battery top notch sound quality but I believe mine was second hand since the tweeter blew last week hope it can be swapped out.

I received the speakers a week ago, They did not have a charging cable with them. I have contacted the supplier and still have not received the charging cables (2). 
I am sure that it not that hard to get the correct charging cables and send them.
On further review of the speakers, they both appear to be used and not NEW.
The speakers play and sound good.
Just a little fustrated with the 3rd party supplier.

Bluetooth speakers 3rd party supplier issues

Had previous Al tech speaker and loved it. This one has plenty of lights but the sound just isn’t there. Max volume and bass are low.

Could have been

Purchased two of these speakers and had the same issue with both of them. The connection between the speaker and the USB-C were loose and had to be messed with continuously to keep the connection. I’m hoping after the return, the new ones will not have the same issue. Not hopeful because it happened to two separate units.

Speakers themselves seem to be ok except for the charging port.

Issues with charging cable and speaker.

We bought 5 of these but they didn't connect to the other speakers at all. Called tech support for help and they were useless. Complete waste of time and energy.

Don't buy these

Awful! Not loud at all, highs are crackly, mids are muddy, and you can hear the subwoofer rattle more than the bass itself. I wasn't expecting amazing, just something to fill a room or use in the shop, but even on sale, no sale would make up for this disaster. I truly don't know how people live with themselves releasing a product like this at all, let alone the audacity to charge $100 MSRP.

Garbage ZERO STARS

I sent this piece of junk back.  I am not an audiophile, but the sound on this speaker is not at all what I expected from Altek Lansing.
save your money...
