My wife and I bought this relatively small freezer as we needed more freezer space than we have in our two refrigerators, and to take advantage of reduced price items we want that can be frozen and used when needed. This freezer is a little larger than the smallest ones, and has plenty of room for the two of us (7.1 cubic feet). It is an Energy Star appliance that uses very little electricity. It fit perfectly next to our extra refrigerator in the garage and is running off the same outlet. We recommend this freezer for couples or small families who need extra freezer space.

Super Energy Efficient Smaller Freezer

Bought freezer a month ago. It has plenty of room but doesn't take up much space.  I let it sit for 24 hours before plugging in and it is working just as it should.  It got cold very quickly.  I like that it has the power light indicator on the front so you can easily see that it is working. It also has a drain plug in the bottom to make future cleaning easier. The lid seals nicely to the base.  The unit is not that heavy and can be lifted by two people without much effort.

Affordable, Perfect size

I've had this for a couple of weeks and it has completely met my expectations. Picked up at my Sam's Club and box was in great shape. Unpacked when I got home, wiped it down and let the freezer sit for 24 hours to ensure all the refrigerants had settled down per the instructions. I set the temperature gauge to 4 and plugged it in. It has kept all of our food and ice perfectly frozen. This is also a great size for us. Highly recommended!!

Works Great!

Does the job well.  Uses very little electricity.  Cooled down quickly so don't overload it up front.  Also get an outside reading termometer for the inside temp.  Also found cloth bags to store different meats in very helpful.

Great Buy for a home freezer

Purchased 2 weeks ago. Operating as needed. 7.1 has lots of space inside without taking up a lot of space outside.  Gave it 4 stars instead of 5 due to only having 1 floating basket. Price at Sam's was best I had seen for this and in consideration of reviews. Pick up at Sam's was easy too.

Getting the job done

We ordered 3 different freezers. The first did not work. The second arrived damaged. The third was found to be damaged before leaving the store the same day of returning freezer #2. Ended up with no freezer. Poor quality and poor handling of the product to the shelf.

Freezer Failure

I bought this freezer on 11/30/23 and returned it on 12/27/23.  The internal compressor must have been defective from the factory.  Anyway….Sam's club refunded me the entire purchase price of the freezer.  After providing receipts of the contents, Sam's Club also compensated me for the entire contents of the freezer that was lost due to the freezer failure.  I can tell you that Sam's Club Customer Service, both at the corporate level and my local club level, was outstanding!  You've made a long time club member want to continue to shop at Sam's for a very long time to come!  THANK YOU Sam's Club!!❤️

Freezer died!

Ordered this freezer and extended warranty for my son and daughter in law, who live in St. Louis.   It arrived damaged.  I called customer service.  They sent another one, which was more damaged than the first.  The freezers were picked up so they could just go to the local Sam's and purchase one on site, so that damage during shipping would not be a problem.  I was supposed to be refunded the cost of the freezer plus extended warranty, but have not received a refund yet.  My advice would be to not order this online but rather purchase it from a local store so you can inspect it immediately.

Damaged freezer

Received the first one, had a big ding.  Received 2nd and it also has dent in the side of it.  3 weeks later and several phone calls and chats online still trying to get them to pick up the first one.

Pick up in store if possible

freezer does not work.  Now i have to find someone to help me get it out of the basement to take back to the store.  Very disappointed and very inconvenient.
