Great buy

Very satisfying with these cameras! Google nest is very user friendly and provide several great features to secure my home and make me feel safe. Camera set up is very easy simply plug and connect through the Google home app. The battery is also very good and can last up to a month or more depending on location and video sensitive

Battery Google Doorbell.

Like that it is wireless. Like that has great nightvision. Like that great market for accessories(solar charging) options. Placed in backfence to view whole backyard, and push button to talk to people in the house anytime. Dislike, that it is not Nest, So does not work with Nest app only Google Home. Dislike, that you cannot have option for super sensitive like other security cameras. Dislike that you cannot switch to landscape view on device.

reply from Nest Support

Hi Miguel, we appreciate that you liked the features for Nest Doorbell (Battery). We're sorry to hear about your disappointment with the move to the Google Home app.We wanted to make the Google Home app the one place where you can control all your favorite Google Nest devices and other smart home devices with the Google Assistant. Here are some benefits you can get by using the Google Home app with your Nest Doorbell (Battery):- Automatic security protections such as Suspicious activity detection, 2-Step Verification and Security Checkup. - Your Google Nest devices and services will work together. For example, if you have a Nest Cam and a Nest Hub, just say, "Hey Google, show me the backyard camera” to cast your camera stream to your display without any additional setup.- One account to sign into both the Nest and Google Home apps. - Your homes and home members will be aligned across the Nest and Google Home apps. You may set up your Nest cameras to the Google Home app. Check out this help article: https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9893532Also, you can create custom Activity Zones for your camera or doorbell for different types of activities that you want to be notified about. You can get more useful alerts about motion in certain parts of your camera’s view and also check when motion happened there in the past. We value your feedback and we've taken note of it. We'll pass along this information to our product team since we're always on the lookout for ways that can improve our products and services. The best doorbell

After my Ring doorbell stopped connecting to my internet and I found out it was not compatible with 5Ghz WiFi, I had to figure out a replacement. I was disappointed with the fact that this happened so I did not want another Ring doorbell. I bought a different, cheaper brand doorbell off Amazon that claimed it was compatible with 5Ghz. After spending most of my day trying to install it and connect it to the internet, I returned it. I then bought this Google Nest and am I so glad I did! ITS AMAZING! It immediately connected to my WiFi and hasn't lost connection since. Easy set up, clear video, easy to use. I hardwired mine but I'm also excited that should I need it to be just battery, that's an option too. It connected easily to indoor mechanical chime (the one that was installed in the early 80s) which is an option if you want but not necessary. All in all, I am so happy I switched. Highly recommend!
