Safe and a great back-up product

Critical during power outage in cold weather! I use a can of gel fuel in my fireplace with the flu closed when the power goes out. A single can lasts about 3 hours and warms up the entire living room.

These work really well. Be sure to follow the directions so they last. I used two for my first fire and they lasted 3 hours. It is nice for the holidays. After almost 30 years of not having a fire this was great! I purchased faux logs and hid the cans behind. No worries about my chimney or smoke coming in. They are a bit expensive but Walmart is a great price.
